Hiccstrid One-Shot: Measurements
They grew, as the years passed, and Astrid was surprised when she and Hiccup were nearly the same height. She had assumed that he would remain the village runt, brilliant and willing to search for trouble.
It was a brisk morning. He was in the smithy, writing up a list of items to order from Trader Johann on a sheet of parchment. Astrid approached from behind, noting how his tunic stretched between his shoulders, it was so tight.
"Good morning, Astrid." He looked up and turned to smile at her. "What can I do for you?"
"Can I borrow you for a race with Stormfly?" she asked. "Where's Toothless?"
"Helping Gobber move some heavy iron ore. We

“What happened?” Sophie asked, wide eyed at the state of the living room.
Den and Harrison looked up from where they were picking up bottles off the floor. They both looked extremely groggy, and Den’s usual spiked hair was as flat as a tin can that had been in the street too long and stuck out like a patch of well-trampled crab grass. Harrison looked even paler than normal, his eyes bloodshot and even more sunken into his thin face.
After staring at the girl with half awake, blank faces, they shrugged in unison and turned back to collecting glassware.
Carefully picking her way to the stairwe

It wasn’t easy to notice at first, especially if you didn’t live there. Hanging quietly on the wall of Dante’s living room was a large sheet of paper, about two feet wide that fell to the floor where the rest of its considerable length was wrapped around a cardboard tube.
It had been a joke, really. Dante had originally started it by tacking a single piece of printer paper up that stated along the top, in his bold handwriting, “RULES.” Directly underneath this he had written ‘1. No jousting in the house.’
It evolved after that. Soon there were two other pages taped to the wall until Den and Harrison

It had been a long time, since we met like this.
Me, Bianca, and Hilda were all together, relaxing in Bianca's room. It was usual for us to meet in Bianca's house, as two out of the three of us were girls- as the lone boy of the group, that didn't bode well for me, but I put up with the pink, well, almost everything, as I was outnumbered. I like to think I'm smart enough to know when I can't win a battle. But, enough about me. As I was saying, much had happened since we all did this old tradition- the ladies seemed unaware of it, but we had all grown in multiple ways.
However, nothing had changed the way I felt.
Even after everything that

Blue eyes gazed through the slits in the banister, slightly narrowing as they focused intently on their target. They watched in wonder, as each time the mentioned person turned each page of the book (which appeared to be of the historical context) completely mesmerized with the care that the pair of hands possessed whilst their onyx eyes lightly danced over the words of each face of a new chapter.
Her long white skirt had become creased in her crouched position, slightly discomfort coming to her red-raw knees of being in the same place for so long. However, this did not deter her willpower to observe the unseen- well,
It was a normal day as always. I was silently doing my paperwork (assigned by Professor Oak) when I heard somebody rudely barge in through the front door. “What’s up Super Serious Gal?”
“Gold, leave me alone!”
“I didn’t do anything and you’re already kicking me out?!”
“Gold, just leave me alone, okay?!”
“Fine! But I’ll be back!”
3 or 4 hours later when I was done with my work I was about to leave when Gold came back. Loudly at that.
“Hiya, Super Serious Gal!”
“Gold, what are you doing here?!” I nearly yelled.
“I told you

"Gold, I swear, if you don't get out of here soon...!" Crystal hunched over her work in an unsuccessful attempt to ignore the black-haired boy who was peering over her shoulder, a little too close for comfort.
"No, I think I'll stay," he replied. "It looks like Super-Serious Gal could use some help."
Crystal snorted. Was Gold actually volunteering to work in Professor Oak's office? "Last time you offered to help, Green found you sleeping under the professor's desk, idiot."
"But it was only that one time..."
"I can think of plenty of other times you slacked off," Crystal retorted, shuffling her papers an

"Why is this stupid computer not working?" Blue growled angrily as she sat at her laptop, clicking all over the screen in hopes of speeding it up. "This happens far too often these days. Oh, WHY WON'T YOU WORK?"
Green, who had been reading nearby, set down his book and came over to the brunette's side.
"The stupid computer won't work," Blue complained, pushing her laptop so he could see.
"Blue, that's not how you upload a video onto YouTube," Green sighed, selecting the file and performing the necessary steps to upload it correctly. It was
"Your name from now on is Silver."
My father's name is Giovanni. Does it ring a bell? Leader of Team Rocket . I was ashamed of my father before until one of my seniors, Green reprimanded me. But now all of these thoughts are circulating me. Why did he control the Pokemon in Virdian Forest? Why did he had to harm my seniors?
All of the questions were swirling in my thoughts. The last time I'd seen I told my Ursaring to bring him to my hide out. When Green and I went there he was gone. Why did he leave? Where did he go to? Was he afraid? I chuckled bitterly. Afraid. That reminds me of all of the times I'd been afraid. The Mask of Ice. (The ol
